Rebecca Saleeb completed her PhD within the Advanced Microscopy Group at Heriot-Watt University. Her PhD research used and developed advanced bioimaging technologies to detect protein interactions within the spatio-temporal framework of the cell, which she applied to the study of autophagy, a key cell survival pathway. Rebecca is currently the ESRIC facility manager within the Institute of Biological Chemistry, Bioengineering and Biophysics at Heriot-Watt University, where she remains research-active through collaborations across diverse projects. As well as managing the facility, providing training and assisting in research projects, Rebecca co-organises the international ESRIC Super-Resolution Summer School alongside other events and training.
